AIAI featured in Jeffrey Ding’s Running the Right Artificial Intelligence Race

October 20, 2025

At the heart of Running the Right Artificial Intelligence Race, Jeffrey Ding in collaboration with RAND reframe global AI competition not as a sprint toward artificial general intelligence, but as a marathon of diffusion — where success depends on how broadly and effectively AI is adopted across economies and industries.

It recognizes AIAI and its paper AI: Everywhere, All at Once on how AI adoption — not invention — drives real productivity gains.

“AI success won’t be defined by who builds the most powerful model,” note AIAI contributors Ed Teather (AWS), Kevin Allison (Minerva Technology Futures), and Marc Etienne Ouimette (Fellow, Cambridge University Bennett School of Public Policy), “but by who ensures its benefits reach every corner of the economy.”

Ding’s message aligns with AIAI’s mission: to accelerate AI adoption globally by advancing practical, scalable policies that unlock productivity and shared growth.

RAND is a nonprofit, nonpartisan research organization that provides leaders with the information they need to make evidence-based decisions.
